Men's Volleyball Hosts Virginia Wesleyan at Alumnae Hall on Friday

THE STORYLINE

The Immaculata men's volleyball team (5-2) will be back in action on Friday evening when they host Virginia Wesleyan at Alumnae Hall at 7:00 p.m.
Immaculata enters Friday's match after falling to Valley Forge on Tuesday in a hard fought five set match falling 27-25, 25-27, 25-19, 23-25, 10-15.
Virginia Wesleyan (6-2, 1-1 ODAC) enters Friday's match having won their last three matches including sweeping a tri-match with King's College and Fisher College on February 8^th.

SERIES HISTORY

Immaculata and Virginia Wesleyan will be meeting for the first time in men's volleyball.

Immaculata has continued the best start in program history, having already matched their 2024 season win total of five.
Noah Zunski led Immaculata with 17 kills on Tuesday, he added two assists, three service aces and six digs.
Josh McGurl had 14 kills, six service aces, one block assist, and eight digs vs Valley Forge.
Joe Martell had 28 assists, five kills, and a team-high 13 digs in Tuesday's match.
Nate Bailey had six kills, two assists, two block assists, and two digs vs Valley Forge.
Matthew Pfister had 10 digs in Tuesday's match.
Christian Lee had four kills, two block assists, and three digs vs Valley Forge.

SCOUTING VIRGINIA WESLEYAN

Virginia Wesleyan is 1-1 in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) play. The Marlins defeated Lynchburg 3-0 on 1/21 and lost to Randolph Macon 3-2 on 2/5.
Sophomore outside hitter JaMarhe Wills leads Virginia Wesleyan with 86 kills averaging 3.19 kills per set. He also has a team-high 59 digs.
Sophomore opposite Matthew Sheppard has 67 kills and is averaging 2.79 kills per set.
First year setter Ajaye Davis has a team high 125 assists averaging 4.63 assists per set.
Senior setter Jagger Ogle has 123 assists, and an average of 5.13 assists per set.
Virginia Wesleyan has won eight consecutive sets.

The Immaculata men's volleyball team will be back in action on Saturday when they travel to Eastern University for a Quad Match with Virginia Wesleyan, Eastern, and Valley Forge.
Immaculata will play the host Eastern at 2:00 p.m., and will play Valley Forge at 4:00 p.m.
