READING, Pa.- The Immaculata women's track and field team opened their 2025-26 Indoor season schedule on Saturday when they competed in the Alvernia Rust Buster at the Plex at Alvernia University on Saturday.
 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS

• As a team Immaculata finished third out of six teams with 79 points.
• Jacquie Leone (800 meter) and Aubrey Donahue (5000 meter) finished first place in their events.
• Aubrey Donahue set an IU program in the 5000 meter with a time of 18:52.20.
• Immaculata relay teams finished in first place in the Distance Medley Relay setting an IU program record, and first and second place in the 4x400 meter relay.
• Immaculata had seven athletes making their collegiate track and field debuts in this meet.

 
HOW IT HAPPENED - TRACK EVENTS

• Distance Medley Relay: The team of Jayla Gross, Kimberly Alvarez, Jacquie Leone, and Aubrey Donahue finished first place with an IU program record time of 13:41.86.
• 60 Meter: Brianna Caulwell finished ninth with a time of 8.76, Nora Roe finished 11th with a time of 9.32, and Abby Friend finished 13th with a time of 10.13.
• One Mile: Molly Wasylenko finished sixth with a time of 6:55.96, and Madeline McBride finished ninth with a time of 7:29.45.
• 400 Meter: Samantha Rivera finished sixth with a time of 1:12.94, and Nora Roe finished seventh with a time of 1:12.98.
• 800 Meter: Jacquie Leone finished first place with a time of 2:39.14, Jayla Gross finished second place with a time of 2:39.31, and Kimberly Alvarez finished sixth with a time of 2:55.07.
• 200 Meter: Jillian Humphries finished eighth with a personal best time of 29.25, Brianna Caulwell finished ninth with a time of 29.58, Samantha Rivera finished 13th with a time of 31.70, and Abby Friend finished 18th with a time of 34.98.
• 5000 Meter: Aubrey Donahue finished first place with a time of 18:52.20, and Breanne Dymek finished second place with a personal best time of 21:03.21.
• 4x400 Meter Relay: The team of Abby Friend, Aubrey Bickford, Jillian Humphries, and Samantha Rivera finished first place with a time of 4:48.43, and the team of Molly Wasylenko, Madeline McBride, Kimberly Alvarez, and Jacquie Leone finished second place with a time of 5:02.87.

 
 
HOW IT HAPPENED – FIELD EVENTS

• Pole Vault:  Aubrey Bickford finished as runner-up clearing 2.50 meters or 8'2.5", and Madeline McBride finished fifth clearing 2.20 meters or 7'2.5".
• High Jump: Jillian Humphries finished fifth clearing 1.35 meters or 4'5".
• Weight Throw: Maggie Friend finished 10th with a throw of 7.53 meters or 24'8.5", and Joanie Lauer finished 12th with a throw of 6.88 meters or 22'7".
• Shot Put: Julianne Frederick finished ninth with a throw of 8.68 meters or 28'5.75", Maggie Friend finished 11th with a throw of 7.69 meters, or 25'2.75", and Joanie Lauer finished 15th with a throw of 6.85 meters or 22'5.75".
