Men’s Cross Country Earns Major Award and Two All-Conference Honors

HADDONFIELD, N.J. – The Atlantic East Conference announced its 2025 Men's Cross Country Awards and All-Conference Teams on Tuesday afternoon, with the Immaculata University men's cross-country team earning one major award and placing two runners on the All-Conference squads.
 
The Mighty Macs capped another strong season by finishing as the Atlantic East Conference Runner-Up for the third time in the past four years.
 
Connor Kakowski (Delran, N.J. / Delran) earned All-Atlantic East Second Team honors after placing 9th overall at the AEC Championships on Saturday. The recognition marks Kakowski's first career All-Conference selection.
 
Jimmy Lauer (Blue Bell, Pa. / Lansdale Catholic) also earned All-Atlantic East Second Team honors following a 14th-place finish, securing his first All-Conference nod as well.
 
Kendall Budlow (York, Pa. / Central York) was named the Atlantic East Conference Elite Scholar-Athlete, awarded to the competitor with the highest cumulative GPA at the championship site. This honor was formerly known as the Elite 20 Award.
 
Immaculata will now turn its focus to the NCAA Division III Metro Regional Championship, scheduled for November 15th at Dream Park in Logan Township, N.J.
