THE STORYLINE
  • The Immaculata men's volleyball team (1-0) are back in action on Saturday when they travel to Gallaudet University in Washington D.C. for a tri-match vs Randolph-Macon and Gallaudet.
  • Immaculata enters Saturday's match after defeating Bryn Athyn College on Tuesday evening at Alumnae Hall 3-1 (25-22, 38-40, 25-16, 25-22).
  • Randolph-Macon (3-4) enters Saturday after defeating Marymount 3-0 (26-24, 26-24, 25-20) on Tuesday.
  • Gallaudet (0-1) enters Saturday after falling to St. Norbert 3-1 (12-25, 27-25, 13-25, 16-25) on 1/22.

SCOUTING GALLAUDET
  • First year outside hitter Zachary Bippus led Gallaudet in their first match with 13 kills.
  • First year setter Troy Holcomb has 25 assists in their match with St. Norbert.
  • First year Libero Eilan Zfati had a team-high six digs vs St. Norbert and Bippus also had six digs.
  • First year middle hitter Tyler Wascher had five total blocks vs St. Norbert.
  • This is the first season since 2013 that Gallaudet has fielded a men's volleyball team. They are members of the United East Conference.
 
CONGRATULATIONS TO COACH ELLIOTT
  • Congratulations to Immaculata Head Coach Josh Elliott for earning his first win as Immaculata Head Coach and his first NCAA coaching win in his debut match on Tuesday.
