THE STORYLINE

The Immaculata men's volleyball team (1-0) are back in action on Saturday when they travel to Gallaudet University in Washington D.C. for a tri-match vs Randolph-Macon and Gallaudet.
Immaculata enters Saturday's match after defeating Bryn Athyn College on Tuesday evening at Alumnae Hall 3-1 (25-22, 38-40, 25-16, 25-22).
Randolph-Macon (3-4) enters Saturday after defeating Marymount 3-0 (26-24, 26-24, 25-20) on Tuesday.
Gallaudet (0-1) enters Saturday after falling to St. Norbert 3-1 (12-25, 27-25, 13-25, 16-25) on 1/22.

SERIES HISTORY

Immaculata and Randolph-Macon are meeting for the third time in their series that began in 2019. Immaculata is 0-2 all-time vs Randolph-Macon.
Immaculata and Gallaudet are meeting for the first time in men's volleyball.

LAST MEETING

Immaculata fell to Randolph-Macon 3-0 in their last meeting on March 27, 2022.
Garrett Pepper led Immaculata with 10 kills. John Carter had eight digs, and Joe Martell had 18 assists for the Mighty Macs.

MIGHTY MAC NOTES

Josh McGurl tied his own IU program record for kills in one match, with 22 kills. He had one service ace and had a team-high 11 digs vs Bryn Athyn.
Joe Martell had 39 assists, five kills, one service ace, three total blocks, and seven digs vs Bryn Athyn.
Matthew Pfister had 10 digs, and two assists in the match with Bryn Athyn.
Noah Zunski had 10 kills, three service aces, and 10 digs in his first collegiate match on Tuesday.
Brandon Lieberman had three service aces in the opener vs Bryn Athyn.
Christian Lee had four kills, one blocked shot, and two digs vs Bryn Athyn.
Nate Bailey on Tuesday had four kills and four digs in his collegiate debut.
Jordan Brown on Tuesday had two kills, and three total blocks in his college debut.

SCOUTING RANDOLPH-MACON

Sophomore outside hitter Ian Wagenhauser leads Randolph-Macon with 298 kills.
Sophomore setter Kody Rogan has 496 assists, and 221 kills.
Freshman libero Brady Plucker has 216 digs.
Sophomore middle blocker Phillip Van Essendelft has 74 total blocks.
As a team Randloph Macon is averaging 11 kills per set.

SCOUTING GALLAUDET

First year outside hitter Zachary Bippus led Gallaudet in their first match with 13 kills.
First year setter Troy Holcomb has 25 assists in their match with St. Norbert.
First year Libero Eilan Zfati had a team-high six digs vs St. Norbert and Bippus also had six digs.
First year middle hitter Tyler Wascher had five total blocks vs St. Norbert.
This is the first season since 2013 that Gallaudet has fielded a men's volleyball team. They are members of the United East Conference.

Congratulations to Immaculata Head Coach Josh Elliott for earning his first win as Immaculata Head Coach and his first NCAA coaching win in his debut match on Tuesday.
