Women's Basketball Hosts Centenary for AEC Game on Saturday

THE STORYLINE
  • The Immaculata women's basketball team (13-3, 3-0 AEC) will be back in action on Saturday when they host Centenary University at Alumnae Hall.
  • Immaculata enters Saturday's game after defeating Gwynedd Mercy 76-61 last Saturday at Gwynedd Mercy.
  • Centenary (11-6, 0-2 AEC) enters Saturday's game after falling to Neumann 62-67 at home on Wednesday.

PRE-GAME CEREMONY
  • Reese Mullins will be honored prior to Saturday's game, for scoring her 1000th career point on January 2, 2025, vs Misericordia.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR
  • Saturday will be a matchup of the two players ranked second and third in the AEC in scoring this season. Reese Mullins of Immaculata is currently ranked third in the AEC in Scoring averaging 17.1 PPG and has scored 273 total points through 16 games. Vatijah Davis of Centenary is currently ranked second in the AEC averaging 18.2 PPG and leads the AEC in total points scored with 310 in 17 games.
  • Tessa Liberatoscioli of Immaculata and Brie Opdyke are both in the top five in steals in the AEC. Liberatoscioli leads the AEC averaging 3.4 steals per game and has an AEC high 55 steals. Opdyke is currently fourth averaging 2.4 steals per game, with 38 total steals.
NUMBERS TO KNOW
  • The Mighty Macs are 8-0 at Alumnae Hall this season, and 17-5 since the start of 2023-24.
