CHESTER, Pa.- The Immaculata University women's track & field team competed in the Paul Donahue Invitational hosted by Widener University. The event included a field of Division II and strong regional Division III schools.
The 4 x 100 relay team set a program record with a time of 54.09 seconds, and six runners posted personal best times for the Mighty Macs.
Immaculata Results:
In the 200-meter dash, Jayla Gross finished 50th with a time of 27.48 seconds. Kimberly Alvarez finished 83rd with a personal best time of 28.45 seconds.
In the 400-meter run, Jayla Gross finished 33rd with a personal best time of 1:02.40. Olivia Morris finished 57th with a time of 1:10.39. Faith Gillin finished 65th with a time of 1:16.09.
In the 800-meter run, Mary Steinbicker finished 41st with a personal best time of 2:25.96. Grace Scheidel finished 87th with a personal best time of 2:53.11. Samantha Rivera finished 90th with a personal best time of 3:01.42. Emily McGonigle finished 97th with a time of 3:20.07.
In the 100-hurdles, Emily Kipers finished 26th with a time of 22.01 seconds. Camryn Oliver finished 27th with a personal best time of 22.13 seconds.
In the 4 x 100 relay, the team of Kimberly Alvarez, Peyton Hays, Jayla Gross, and Mary Steinbicker finished 13th with an Immaculata outdoor program record of 54.09 seconds.
In the 4 x 400 relay, the team of Faith Gillin, Emily Kipers, Olivia Morris, and Samantha Rivera finished 14th with a time of 5:07.26.
In the Javelin, Maggie Friend finished 22nd with a throw of 26.69 meters or 87'7".
