Men's Basketball Heads to Juniata for Doc Greene Holiday Tournament on Sunday and Monday

THE STORYLINE
  • The Immaculata men's basketball team (4-7) travels to Huntingdon, Pa to play in the Juniata Doc Greene Holiday Tournament.
  • The Mighty Macs will face the host Juniata College (0-9) on Sunday evening at 7 p.m.
  • Immaculata will play either the winner or loser of the Hood College vs New Jersey City University game in either the Consolation or Championship Game on Monday at 2 or 4 p.m.

  • Immaculata is 0-1 all-time vs Hood with their only meeting coming back in 2012.

  • Sophomore guard Ty Kocak leads Juniata averaging 11.3 PPG. He scored a season high of 18 points vs Elizabethtown on December 4.
  • Freshman guard Ayden Hurly is averaging 10 PPG. He scored his season-high 16 points vs Elizabethtown on December 4.
  • Senior guard Tyler Lapetina is averaging eight PPG. He scored a season-high nine points vs Wilkes on December 7.
SCOUTING HOOD
  • Hood (6-3) enters the tournament having won their last two games. They defeated Goucher College 101-45 in their last game on 12/18.
  • Sophomore guard Kullen Robinson is leading the Blazers offense averaging 15.4 PPG. Robinson scored a season-high 26 points vs Notre Dame (Md.) on 11/8.
  • Senior guard Garrison Linton is averaging 13.9 PPG, 5.6 RPG, and has 21 steals. Linton scored a season-high 24 points vs DeSales on 12/7.

  • John Proctor was named to the Atlantic East Conference men's basketball Weekly Honor Roll on Monday afternoon for his play vs Elizabethtown and Stevenson. This was Proctor's third selection to the weekly honor roll this season.

  • Following the tournament, Immaculata will be back in action on Saturday, January 4, 2025, when they host Marymount University at Alumnae Hall for their Atlantic East Conference opener at 3 p.m.
