Men's Basketball Hosts Stevenson at Alumnae Hall on Wednesday Afternoon

THE STORYLINE 
  • The Immaculata men's basketball team (3-7) hosts Stevenson University at Alumnae Hall on Wednesday afternoon. 
  • Immaculata will be looking to bounce back from Monday's loss in overtime to Elizabethtown 92-84. 
  • Stevenson University (5-2) enters Wednesday's game after defeating Goucher College on Sunday 96-47.

THE SERIES HISTORY 

  • Immaculata and Stevenson are meeting for just the second time in their series that began in 2023. 

  • Immaculata is 1-0 all-time vs Stevenson. 

LAST MEETING 

  • Immaculata defeated Stevenson 66-64 on 11/18/2023 in the Championship Game of the Mustang Classic Tournament at Owings Mills, Md.  

  • Tyler Tillery scored on a layup off a pass from Ryan Straub with 0:08 to give the Mighty Macs the 66-64 lead that would hold up for the Macs to earn the win. 

MIGHTY MAC NOTES 

  • Dylan Crews led Immaculata with 20 points, seven rebounds, three assists, one blocked shot, and one steal on Monday evening. Crews was named to the Atlantic East Conference Weekly Honor Roll on Monday afternoon.

  • Robbie Logan scored 16 points, with three rebounds, and two assists vs Elizabethtown. 

  • Mandon Seapoe scored 15 points, with five rebounds, two assists, and one steal. Seapoe has scored in double figures in each of the last five games for Immaculata. 

  • Samuel Jankowski scored 11 points, with four rebounds, and two blocked shots on Monday. 

  • John Proctor scored eight points, with two rebounds, three assists, and one steal vs Elizabethtown. 

  • Jalen Flowers scored eight points, with two rebounds, three assists, and one steal on Monday. 

  • John Flood scored five points with three rebounds, and one steal vs Elizabethtown. 

  • Ryan Straub scored three points, with six rebounds, one assist, and three blocked shots.  

SCOUTING STEVENSON 

  • Senior forward Cameron Smith is averaging 13.3 PPG and 6 RPG to lead the Mustangs offense. He scored a season-high 21 points vs St. Mary's (Md.) on 11/23. 

  • Junior guard Ronald Ayers is averaging 13.1 PPG and 4.1 RPG. He scored a season-high 21 points vs Goucher on 12/15. 

  • Sophomore forward Mason Jones leads the Mustangs with 45 rebounds averaging 6.5 RPG and is scoring 11.3 PPG. He scored a career-high 22 points vs Waynesburg on 11/9. 

  • As a team Stevenson is shooting 44.1% from the field, 33.3% from behind the arc, and are shooting 68.4% from the stripe. 

NUMBERS TO KNOW 

  • The Mighty Macs are 2-2 at Alumnae Hall this season and are 9-7 at home over the past two seasons. 

  • Immaculata is 3-2 this season, when the shoot 40% or better from the field.
