COLLEGEVILLE, Pa.- The Immaculata men's basketball team (0-1) opened it's 2024-25 season on Friday evening with a 99-65 loss to host Ursinus in the Ursinus College Bear Bash Tip-Off Tournament.

How it Happened

• Ursinus (1-0) jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead on an early three pointer. Madon Seapoe responded with a three pointer of his own to tie the score at 3-3.
• Ursinus built their lead up to 19-7, when Jalen Flowers hit a three-pointer to close the score to 19-11.
• Dinero Washington scored on a layup to make the score 23-16 with 13:08 remaining in the first half.
• Ursinus would take a 49-34 lead into the halftime break.
• In the second half Ursinus quickly built their lead to 55-34. John Proctor broke the run with a pair baskets.
• Kevin Telesford hit a three pointer to cut the lead to 56-41.
• Immaculata would get additional baskets from John Proctor, Dylan Crews, and John Flood.
• Ursinus would go on to close out the win 99-65.

• John Proctor led Immaculata with 14 points, with three rebounds, and two steals.
• Dinero Washington scored 12 points and had one steal.
• Samuel Jankowski scored eight points in his college debut.
• Dylan Crews scored seven points, with three rebounds and two steals.
• John Flood had five points, and a team high eight rebounds.

Team Stats

• Ursinus shot 57.4% (35-61) from the field and shot 45.25 (14-31) from behind the arc. Ursinus scored 16 points off turnovers, and 38 points in the paint.
• Immaculata shot 38.3% (23-60) from the field and shot 25.95 (7-27) from behind the arc. Immaculata did not score off a turnover and scored 28 points in the paint.
