IMMACULATA,Pa.- The Immaculata men's basketball team picked up an Atlantic East Conference victory over Cabrini by a score of 85-78.
 
Immaculata opened the game on a 14-4 run, the Cavaliers did not go down without a fight as they went on a 12-0 run of their own. At the 6:00 minute mark in the first half and never looked back. Heading into the break with a 35-30 advantage.
 
Immaculata started out the second half hot, jumping out to a seventeen-point lead with just over ten minutes remaining. Cabrini battled back bringing the game within two possessions with under a minute remaining but clutch free throw shooting from 
John Proctor and 
Dinero Washington sealed the deal on a Mighty Macs victory.
 
 
Immaculata was led by 
Tyler Tillery who picked up his seventh double-double of the season and fourth in his last five games with a 15-point, 15 rebound performance. He also was tied for the team lead with four assists. 
Tim Schultice poured in 14 points and seven rebounds on 60% shooting from the floor. Freshman 
Dinero Washington continued his scorching streak with 14 points. 
John Proctor added 13 points while 
Mandon Seapoe tallied 11.
 
Immaculata shot an efficient 54% from the floor in the contest and 88.2% from the charity stripe to help get back in the win column.
 
With a conference bye this Saturday, the Mighty Macs are back in action on Wednesday, January 31
st when they travel to Scranton to take on Marywood University with an 8:00 PM start.
