Tillery's Historic Night Leads Macs Over Cyclones

HACKETTSTOWN,NJ.- The Immaculata men's basketball team picked up their first  Atlantic East Conference victory with an 82-73 win over Centenary.

It was an unforgettable night for graduate student Tyler Tillery, whose and one finish with 9:54 remaining in the first half, would mark his 1,000th career point. Tillery becomes the eighth player in men's program history to reach this milestone, joining his assistant coaches Kyle Finklea (Class of 2009, 1,544 points) and Brandon McCullough (Class of 2022, 1,319 points) in the 1,000-point club.

Tillery led the way for Immaculata, with a career high 25 points and 17 rebounds which ties a career high set in his freshman campaign during the 2019-2020 season. Keith Farmer added a season high 12 points. Mandon Seapoe also contributed with 10 points while Dinero Washington added 11.

Gregory Vlassopoulos and Tim Schultice each corralled seven rebounds while John Flood and Washington each brought in 6. As a team, the Mighty Macs grabbed 55 rebounds, two shy of a single game program record.

The Immaculata men's basketball team is back in action as they wrap up non-conference play Thursday, January 18th when they host Yeshiva University at 8:00 PM.
