DAYTONA BEACH,Fl. – The Immaculata men's basketball team finished the 2023 portion of their schedule with a 77-55 defeat at the hands of Ramapo College in their Florida Sunshine Shootout endcap.
It was a tale of two halves for Immaculata, heading into the break trailing by one, by way of 44% shooting from beyond the arc and 80% from the charity stripe. The second half was a different story as the Macs struggled from the floor shooting at a 28% clip from the field.
Tyler Tillery led the way for Immaculata with his 3
rd double-double of the season with 10 points and 12 rebounds, both team high's.
John Proctor added nine points while
Dylan Crews and
Tim Schultice each had seven points.
Six other Macs found the scoring column, with
Gregory Vlassopoulos (6),
Mandon Seapoe (4),
John Flood (4), and
Dinero Washington (4),
Kevin Telesford (3) and
Ryan Straub (1) all tallying points in the contest.
The Immaculata men's basketball team will be back in action after the New Year when they travel to Marymount to open their 2024 Atlantic East Conference slate on Wednesday, January 3
rd.
