DAYTONA BEACH,Fl. – The Immaculata men's basketball team returned to action after Christmas break in the 2023 Florida Sunshine Shootout.  They dropped their opener to an undefeated Hobart College team by a score of 70-58.
 
The Mighty Macs held a three-point advantage heading into the break, with a score of 31-28. Hobart would take control of the contest in the second half, outscoring the Macs 42-27.
 
John Proctor led Immaculata with 14 points, Dylan Crews added 13 of his own. Mandon Seapoe contributed with nine points while Tyler Tillery and Ryan Straub each totaled seven points. Tillery added a game high eight rebounds while John Flood added five rebounds and a pair of assists.
 
The Immaculata men's basketball team will be back in action tomorrow for their Sunshine Shootout finale when they take on Ramapo College at 4:00 PM at the Ocean Center.
