ABINGTON,Pa.- The Immaculata men's basketball team dropped their non-conference matchup with Penn State Abington by a score of 97-86.

How It Happened:
The Nittany Lions opened the game on a 9-2 run, the Mighty Macs would cut the lead to two prior to another run by the Nittany Lions before the half. Heading into the break the Mighty Macs trailed by a score of 50-40.

Abington would open the second half on a 14-0 run, to push their lead to a 24-point lead. The Mighty Macs would battle back with a run of their own to cut the Abington lead to 73-72 on a
Mandon Seapoe three pointer with 8:37 remaining in the contest.

The Mighty Macs could not capitalize on defensive stops as the Nittany Lions held on.

Both teams shot 50.8% from the floor, with the difference in the contest coming from the free throw differential with the Macs knocking down 17-23 and Penn State Abington connecting on 30-36.
Inside the Numbers:
Tim Schultice had a season high 17 points to lead the Mighty Macs.
Mandon Seapoe and
Tyler Tillery each added 14 points.
Dinero Washington had eight of his own while
Robbie Logan and
Gregory Vlassopoulos both had six points. Tillery and Schultice each brought in seven rebounds. Seapoe led the Macs with a career high five assists.
