IMMACULATA,Pa.- The Immaculata men's basketball team defeated Mississippi University for Women by a score of 81-62. This was the first matchup between the schools since the 1972 AIAW National Semifinals by their respective women's programs.

The Mighty Macs got out to a hot start on the offensive end, taking a 43-28 lead into the break. The Owls would not go down without a fight, bringing the lead to within 14 in the second half, the Mighty Macs would strike back extending the lead to 24 with 5:42 remaining in the contest.

Four Mighty Macs found themselves in double figures with freshman
Mandon Seapoe set a new career high with 19 points on the afternoon. Senior
Gregory Vlassopoulos also had 19 points of his own knocking down four triples.
Tyler Tillery had 12 points and
Tim Schultice added 11 on the day.
John Flood had a game high seven assists.

The Immaculata men's basketball team will return to action after Christmas when they travel to Daytona Beach,FL for the 2023 Florida Sunshine Shootout with games on the 28
th and 29
th of December.
