IMMACULATA,Pa.- The Immaculata men's basketball team defeated Penn State Berks by a score of 99-77 in this evening's contest.

How It Happened:
In a back and forth first half of action, the Mighty Macs headed into the break leading 39-32. The team would stretch their lead to 20 by the 15-minute mark of the second half. The lead would grow even more to 29 with 6 minutes remaining in the contest. The Mighty Macs would shoot a season best 47% from the floor while speeding the Nittany Lions up and causing 18 turnovers on the defensive end, keeping the Lions out of their offensive rhythm.

Inside the Numbers:
The Mighty Macs had 14 players record atleast one basket in tonight's contest. This is a program high for the number of players to score in one game. Senior
Gregory Vlassopoulos and freshman
Dinero Washington each had 14 points to lead the way. Graduate student
Tyler Tillery had 11 points and a team high eight rebounds.
Dylan Crews also added 11 points with a team high four assists.
John Proctor was the final Mac in double digits with 10 points to go along with seven rebounds.

Game of Firsts:
Robbie Logan and
Jayden Williams both scored their first points as Mighty Macs this evening. Logan connected on two triples and Williams knocked down a trio of foul shots.
Tyler Scarpulla and
Kevin Telesford both tied career highs.

The Immaculata men's basketball team improves to 6-2, which is the best start to a season for the program since 2008. The team is back in action when they travel to Penn State Abington for a 2:00 PM matchup on Saturday, December 2
