OWINGS MILLS,Md.- The Immaculata men's basketball team defeated Notre Dame (Md.) by a score of 66-56 in the opening round of the Mustang Classic at Stevenson University.

Freshman
Dinero Washington poured in a 13-point performance on the evening, a team high which is also a new career high. Washington added five rebounds, three assists and two steals. Senior
Gregory Vlassopoulos added 12 points and five rebounds. Sophomore
Jalen Flowers added a career high of his own with 10 points off the bench on 3-5 shooting from the floor.

Immaculata led for the entire 40 minutes of gametime. The Macs used 32 points in the paint as well as 25 points off turnovers as the difference maker in this evening's contest. 10 Mighty Macs found themselves in the scoring column. As a team, Immaculata brought in 51 rebounds with
Tyler Tillery leading the way with eight.
John Proctor and
Steven Dao each grabbed seven.

th with a  4:00 PM matchup with the winner of Game 2 in the Mustang Classic.
