Women's Tennis Drops Opener to Alvernia

Box Score IMMACULATA, Pa. – The Immaculata women's tennis team opened their fall 2022 schedule with a loss against Alvernia University on Tuesday afternoon 8-1.

The Mighty Macs were swept in doubles action with Annamarie Degnan and Pamela Kontaras dropping first doubles by as core of 8-7. Jenna Muttik and Delaney Brown dropped the second doubles match 8-2, while Katie Gardner and Sydney Mehaffey lost third doubles 8-6.

Junior Audrey Keen earned the Mighty Macs sole victory on the day in the sixth singles match. Keen swept her match 6-1 and 6-1. The Macs dropped the other singles matches in consecutive sets.

The Mighty Macs are back on the court on Sunday, September 18th when the travel to Elizabethtown College at 11:00 AM.
