LANCASTER, Pa. - The Atlantic East Conference announced its women's track & field All-Conference selections on Tuesday following the completion of the Atlantic East Championships this past weekend. Immaculata was well-represented in the All-Conference selections, earning all-conference in three individual events and one relay.
Sophomore Emily Kipers earned one of three All-Conference First Team selections in the pole vault following a three-way tie at the 2.15-meter mark for the gold medal on Sunday. Over the weekend, Kipers also became the first heptathlete in Immaculata history to compete in a conference meet.
Julia Darlak then earned All-Conference Second in two track events on Sunday. First, Darlak earned the silver medal in the 100-meter dash, posting a 13.64 time. Darlak then earned Second Team honors with her second place finish in the 200-meter, posting a 28.92 time on the event.
The Mighty Macs' 4x100-meter relay team of Peyton Hays, Jillian Humphries, Faith Gillin, and Julia Darlak then earned All-Conference Second Team honors on their event, setting the program record with a 54.54 time on the event.
