IMMACULATA, Pa. – Head coach
Matt Justice and the Immaculata men's lacrosse team announced their schedule for the upcoming 2022 season on Thursday afternoon. Following their 2021 season in which the Macs lost in the Atlantic East Conference Quarterfinals, the Mighty Macs look to renew their efforts for the Atlantic East Championship in 2022.
Before beginning conference play, the Macs will navigate a nine-game non-conference schedule consisting of seven home games and two away games. The Macs will kick off their season on Saturday, February 26
th as they host Cairn University, the first leg of a four-game homestand.
The Macs will then host Alvernia on Wednesday, March 2
nd before hosting Penn College on Saturday the 5
th. Their four-game homestand will conclude on Wednesday the 9
th as they host Drew University. Immaculata's first away game of the season will then take place on Saturday, March 12
th when they travel to Baltimore, Md. to face Goucher.
Following their trip to Maryland, the Mighty Macs will return to Draper Walsh Stadium for a two-game homestand against Albright and Mount Saint Vincent scheduled for Wednesday, March 16
th and Saturday, March 19
th, respectively. The Macs will then hit the road as they face Delaware Valley on Wednesday the 23
rd before concluding their non-conference schedule at home on Wednesday, the 30
th against Rosemont.
The Mighty Macs will then begin their Atlantic East campaign on Saturday, April 2
nd on the road against rival Cabrini. The Macs will then host Marywood on Wednesday the 6
th before hitting the road against Gwynedd Mercy on Saturday, the 9
th.
Following Easter break, the Mighty Macs will return to action at home on Wednesday, April 20
th as they face Atlantic East newcomer Centenary. The Macs will then travel to Marymount for their final away game of the regular season on Saturday the 23
rd. Then, the Macs will conclude their regular season at home on Wednesday, the 27
th as they host Neumann.
