BALTIMORE, Md. – Freshman
Pamela Kontaras won her singles flight as the Immaculata women's tennis team wrapped up day two of the Goucher Invitational on Sunday.
Kontaras, who earned her ticket to the Singles E flight final match yesterday, competed against Goucher's own Sarai Silviera. Kontaras defeated Sliviera in two sets with scores of 6-3, 6-3.
Meanwhile, in the Singles D flight of competition,
Kelly O'Brien competed against Gettysburg's Alex Rieg in the final match. O'Brien lost in two sets with the sets going 6-1, 6-0 in favor of Rieg.
The Goucher Invitational concludes the Mighty Macs women's tennis fall 2021 schedule. The Macs will return to action in the Spring as they look to defend their back-to-back Atlantic East Conference titles.
