IMMACULATA, Pa. - The top-seeded Immaculata University women's tennis team opens play in the inaugural Atlantic East Conference Tournament Friday afternoon at Legacy Tennis in Philadelphia in search of the program's first-ever Atlantic East title. The Mighty Macs posted 11 wins in the regular season - including a perfect 4-0 mark in Atlantic East matches - en route to earning the number one seed in this weekend's championship tournament.

NEWS & NOTES
-The Macs' 11 dual match wins in the 2018-19 season marks the fifth-straight season of at least 11 wins for the program.
-Of the Macs' four Atlantic East matches, three resulted in 9-0 victories, with the lone exception coming in a 5-4 win at second-seeded Gwynedd Mercy.
-With a win over Neumann in the semifinal Friday, the Macs would advance to their second-straight conference tournament championship match.
-The first and second doubles pairings comprised of
Caleigh Masterman,
Morgan Jacob,
Susan Callahan and
Caitlin Savage combined to post a 22-16 record on the season and aim to put the Macs in position to advance to the conference championship match with early doubles victories.
-Masterman took another step forward in her second season after earning conference Rookie of the Year honors a season ago, posting a 13-6 record at first singles with a perfect 4-0 mark in Atlantic East matches.
