Mighty Macs Drop Non-Conference Match to Oglethorpe

ORLANDO, Fla. - The Immaculata University women's tennis team played in its third of four matches this week in Orlando Tuesday night, dropping an 8-1 decision to Oglethorpe. Morgan Jacob posted the lone match victory for the Mighty Macs with a three-set triumph at the third singles position.

DOUBLES RESULTS
-The Macs were unable to secure a win in the three doubles matches, though Elizabeth Lipscomb and Jessica Dougherty put up a good battle at the third slot in an 8-3 decision.

SINGLES RESULTS
-Jacob posted the lone singles win for the Mighty Macs with a come-from-behind, 1-6, 6-2, 10-8 victory at the third position.
-Lipscomb, Dougherty and Caleigh Masterman all went through hard-fought first sets, but were unable to salvage the second set in their respective matches.

UP NEXT
Immaculata (3-5) has an off day Wednesday before wrapping up its stay in Orlando against Susquehanna Thursday at 10 a.m.
