VIDEO PREVIEW/LIVE STATS/LIVE VIDEO

ROCHESTER, N.Y.- The Immaculata softball team will ride their 11-game winning streak and their first ever Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) championship into their first NCAA Regional experience this weekend at the Rochester Regional, hosted by St. John Fisher.  The Macs will play St. John Fisher in their opener at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.

The Mighty Macs captured their first ever conference crown in a 6-4 triumph over Neumann last Saturday after sweeping through Cedar Crest, Cabrini, and Gwynedd Mercy.

In the CSAC playoffs, the Mighty Mac pitching staff of junior Jessica Bormann and freshman Emma Bischoff was nearly unhittable as they combined to go 4-0 with a 1.04 ERA with 25 strikeouts and just 20 hits and six walks allowed over 27 innings.

Offensively, the Macs were led by senior Annemarie Bartow as she went 6-for-12 (.500) with two doubles, one home run, and eight RBIs.  Freshman Keani Hindle drove in seven runs in the four games behind a double, triple, and home run.  Bartow needs just two more doubles to break the NCAA Division III record for doubles in a career.
