Mighty Macs Fall to Gwynedd in CSAC Championship

PHILADELPHIA - The Immaculata University women's tennis team saw its season come to a close Saturday afternoon, falling to Gwynedd Mercy in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Championship Match. The result marks the first time the Macs have finished as the conference runner-up since 2005, and the team's 13 wins are the most in the last ten seasons.

DOUBLES RESULTS
-The Griffins took all three doubles matches to race out to the early advantage. Catherine Zirolli and Elizabeth Lipscomb put up a good battle at the third position, but fell 8-2.

SINGLES RESULTS
-Susan Callahan was defeated 6-0, 6-0 at second singles, before Caitlin Savage was taken down 6-0, 6-1 at third to clinch the match for Gwynedd.
