PHILADELPHIA, Pa.- The No. 2-seeded Immaculata University women's tennis team is headed to the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Championship match on Saturday afternoon after defeating No. 3 Marywood, 5-1, at the Legacy Youth Tennis Center in Philadelphia on Friday.

The Macs took two of three doubles and finished it off with three singles victories to head to the championship match where they will have a chance to advance to the NCAA Tournament with a victory.

DOUBLES RESULTS
-Senior
Susan Callahan and junior
Caitlin Savage were the first victors at second doubles, 8-2, to put the Macs in front
-Freshmen
Elizabeth Lipscomb and Catherline Zirolli staged a comeback from down 6-5 to 8-6 winners at third doubles for the second IU point
-Freshmen
Caleigh Masterman and
Morgan Jacob dropped the first doubles match, 8-4

SINGLES RESULTS
-Callahan cruised for the first singles point and third of the day for IU in the second spot with a 6-1, 6-0 victory
-Masterman shook off the doubles defeat with a straight sets victory at first singles, 6-0, 6-1
-Lipscomb earned the deciding point of the day for the Mighty Macs with a 6-3, 6-4 win at fifth singles
-Savage at third, Jacob at fourth, and Zirolli at sixth were all up one set when the match was called
