GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa. - The Immaculata University women's tennis team suffered its first Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) loss to fellow unbeaten Gwynedd Mercy Wednesday afternoon in the final dual match leading into this weekend's conference tournament.Â
Wednesday's result solidifies the Macs (12-4, 9-1 CSAC) as the number two seed in the CSAC tournament, and will take on third-seeded Marywood 50 minutes after the conclusion of the (1) Gwynedd Mercy and (4) Clarks Summit matchup set to begin at 9:30 a.m.
DOUBLES RESULTS

Caleigh Masterman and
Morgan Jacob suffered their first loss at first doubles in CSAC action this season with an 8-1 result.
-Second and third doubles both dropped 8-4 decisions.
SINGLES RESULTS
-Masterman battled Gwynedd's first singles in both sets, but fell 6-1, 6-3.

Susan Callahan was a tough out at the second position, falling 6-3, 6-2.

Elizabeth Lipscomb played a hard-fought match at fifth singles, dropping the first set 5-7 before rebounding for a 6-4 win in the second. Lipscomb ultimately fell in the third-set tiebreaker, 10-4.
