RADNOR, Pa.- The Immaculata women's basketball team (2-4, 1-1 CSAC) looked to build off of their conference opening win on Saturday as they trailed to Cabrini (3-4, 1-0 CSAC) for their second Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) game, but the Macs never led and fell to the Cavaliers, 81-53.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Cabrini took the early lead with a 10-2 run out of the gates in the opening three minutes, but the Macs battled back with an 8-3 spurt on the strength of a jumper by Ballinger, a layup by freshman
Shannon Kelly, and freshman
Emily Halloran knocked down a three to make it 13-10 with 2:23 to go in the first
-The Cavaliers then made a strong statement by scoring the final 10 points of the quarter to take a 23-10 lead to the second quarter
-In the second, the Macs got the deficit down to eight points after a layup by Kearney, but an 8-0 Cabrini run got the lead up to 16 at 34-18 with 3:35 remaining before the half
-Cabrini led 38-22 at halftime
-Cabrini put the game away in the third quarter by dominating the Macs to the tune of 25-9 as they led 63-31 heading to the fourth
-The Macs played their best in the fourth, outscoring the Cavaliers 22-18 in the period, but it wasn't enough in the 81-53 loss
