LANCASTER, Pa.- The Immaculata women's basketball team (1-2) dropped the finale of the Terry Greene Tip-Off Tournament finale to Stevens on Sunday afternoon, 62-43.

Natalie Ayoub had nine points and eight rebounds and was named to the All-Tournament Team.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Mighty Macs struggled out of the gates and trailed 12-3 with 3:48 to play in the first quarter after a free throw by Ayoub and a lay-up by freshman
Emily Halloran (4 points, 6 rebounds)
-IU then ripped off 10 of the next 13 points to trim the deficit to 15-13 as Ayoub converted a traditional three-point play to spark the run. The Macs trailed 18-13 at the end of the first quarter
-The Mighty Macs had a tough time in the second quarter as they scored just seven points behind four from junior
Amber Ballinger (4 points) and a three by senior
Gina Cocci (5 points), but they held Stevens to 12 and trailed 30-20 at the break
-In the third quarter, the Mighty Macs were unable to get closer than 10 points as Stevens outscored the Macs 20-13 in the period to take a 50-33 lead to the final period.
-In the final period, Stevens grew their lead to 23 points before the Macs whittled it down to 19 points in a 62-43 loss

-Stevens shot 43.1% (25-for-58) from the field and the Macs were 30.4% (14-for-46) from the floor, and Stevens outrebounded IU, 39-31
-Ayoub led the squad with nine points and eight rebounds and sophomore
