HARRISBURG, Pa.- The Mighty Mac men's basketball team (2-1) came away from the Penn State-Harrisburg Tournament at 1-1 as they put together a strong performance in a convincing 93-73 victory over the City College of New York.

The Mighty Macs had 15 players score on the day as they shot 50% (34-for-68) behind 14 by sophomore

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The game was tied early on at 5-5, but the Macs ripped off an 8-0 spurt to take a 13-5 lead. Â Ambrose, McHugh, and McCullough all converted field goals and senior
Matt Krewson (4 points, 4 rebounds) hit a pair of free throws to fuel the run
-CCNY trimmed it to one point with a 9-2 run, but the Macs responded with 10 straight to take a 25-14 lead midway through the half. The Macs got points from four different Macs, with two field goals coming from junior
Mike Piekarski (4 points, 4 rebounds)
-The lead got as large as 15 at 46-31 on a layup by Krewson, and the Macs went to the locker room with a 46-35 lead
-The Mighty Macs did not slow down out of the locker room as they ran their lead up to 19 points at 59-40 less than four minutes into the period
-The lead grew all the way to 28 points at one point before the Macs finished off the 20-point win
