Women's Tennis Falls At Marywood, 7-2

SCRANTON, Pa.
– Immaculata traveled to Marywood Saturday afternoon for a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) women's tennis match, falling to the Pacers, 7-2.
 
Lauren Degnan was a double-winner for the Mighty Macs, who are now 5-4 overall and 2-2 in league play. Degnan teamed up with Kelly Gross at the top doubles position to defeat Abby Doud and Kristen Lambert, 8-4. Degnan then turned around and downed Doud at first singles, 6-0, 6-1.
 
Immaculata had three other singles matches end in a third set. Both Gross, second singles, and Susan Callahan, fourth singles, won their opening sets only to have their Pacer counterpart win the second set. Annaliese Kambouroglos narrowly dropped the first set, 7-5, and won the second set, 6-3, to for the tie-breaker.
 
Immaculata hosts Penn State Brandywine on Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. at the IU Tennis Courts.
