BRYN MAWR, Pa.- The Immaculata women's tennis team (3-2) lost their second consecutive match on Friday afternoon as they fell at Bryn Mawr, 6-3. The Mighty Macs will return to action on Saturday afternoon as they host Gwynedd Mercy in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) play.
The Mighty Macs fell behind early in the match as they were swept in doubles to make it 3-0 Bryn Mawr through three matches.
In singles, junior
Kelly Gross and sophomore
Caitlin Savage remained unbeaten this season as they each picked up straight sets victories. Gross won 6-2, 6-3 in second singles and Savage won 6-4, 6-4 in a close match at fifth singles. Freshman
Susan Callahan picked up the other victory for IU as she won 6-4, 6-3 at fourth singles.
The Mighty Macs will host the Griffins at 1 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.
