Box Score 2 ROSEMONT, Pa. – Immaculata's softball team picked up a pair of Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) wins Wednesday evening as the Mighty Macs defeated the Rosemont Ravens, 6-0 and 12-2.

Immaculata (3-11, 2-2 CSAC) started the opener with one run in the first as
Melissa Ejk hit a RBI single to score
Angelina Welch, who led off the game with a bunt single.

The Mighty Macs scored twice in the third as
Annemarie Bartow had a two-out single to plate both
Caitlin Brasier and Welch, who both singled.

Immaculata tacked one more on the scoreboard in the fifth on a RBI double from Bartow to score Ejk. The Mighty Macs then continued the scoring in the sixth with two unearned runs.

Brasier tossed the shutout as she struck out a career-high 10 Ravens while only allowing two hits.

Bartow finished game one 3-for-3 with three RBIs. Welsh, Ejk and
Paige Hughes all scattered two hits each.

In the nightcap, Immaculata scored four of the five innings it batted starting with four runs in the first. The Mighty Macs then added three runs in the third and fourth innings and two more in the fifth.

The first five hitters in Immaculata's lineup all reached base to begin the game. Welsh walked and scored as
Kelsey Collevechio tripled. Ejk then singled to plate Collevechio. Bartow singled and Hughes walked to load the bases for
Caitlyn Hudock, who had a RBI groundout.
Meghan Kugler then hit a sacrifice fly to score Bartow for the fourth run.

The third inning started with Hudock getting on base by a walk, and she eventually scored on
Jessica Bormann's fielder choice after getting to third on a passed ball. Welsh reached on a fielder's choice as Kugler was cut down at third, but both Bormann and Welsh scored when Collevechio doubled into left field.

Bartow doubled to right center to start the fourth inning, and scored when Hughes singled down the left field line. Hughes ended up standing at third following a passed ball and wild pitch, and scored when Kugler reached on an error.
Tabitha Mulholland followed later in the inning with a RBI single that scored Kugler for the 10th run for the Mighty Macs.

Ejk and Bartow again each singled to start the fifth, and both scored when Hudock knocked them in with a single into left to cap the 12 runs.

Bartow was a perfect 4-for-4 in the second game with three runs scored. Collevechio and Ejk were both 2-for-4 while Collevechio had three RBIs.

Bormann got the win in the circle as she gave up just three hits and one earned run. She struck out six and walked two Rosemont hitters.

Immaculata will play its home opener on Tuesday, March 29, at 3 p.m. as Widener visits.
