ST. DAVIDS, Pa. – Immaculata University's women's basketball team capped a four-game road trip at Eastern on Wednesday night with a 74-50 loss to the Eagles in non-conference action.

Tamyra Laws continued her strong of double-double performances with a team-leading 21 points and 14 rebounds for the Mighty Macs.

Mamako Johnson all added six points for Immaculata. Kramer also made seven rebounds, and Johnson grabbed five off the boards.

Immaculata and Eastern played tight during the first five minutes of the first quarter as the Eagles led by just one point (7-6) at the midway point of the quarter. However, a 15-4 run by Eastern during the final 4:52 of the quarter set the Eagles up with a 22-10 lead.

Eastern (4-1) continued to add to its lead scoring the first nine points of the second quarter pushing its advantage to 21 points (31-10). Immaculata made its first basket of the second quarter at the 7:09 mark as Gallagher had a jumper. Eastern's lead grew to as many as 30 (44-14) with 3:41 to play before halftime. Immaculata was able to close the gap to 22 (44-22) by halftime as the Mighty Macs' scored the final eight points of the stanza.

The Eagles led by as many as 31 points (68-37) with 8:46 remaining in the contest. The Mighty Macs made a run with eight-straight points cutting their deficit to 23 (68-45), but they could not get any closer.

Immaculata (0-5) shot 31.7 percent (19-60) from the field and 55.6 percent (10-18) at the free throw line. Eastern was 31-for-74 (.419) from the field and a perfect 8 of 8 (1.000) at the line.
