IMMACULATA, Pa. – Immaculata University finished with the sixth seed in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Volleyball Tournament, and will travel to third-seeded Neumann University on Tuesday night, November 1, at 7 p.m. for a quarterfinal match.

This is the third-straight season the Mighty Macs (9-15, 6-5 CSAC) have reached the CSAC postseason. Immaculata was the fourth seed in the 2015 tournament and fifth seed in 2014, and advanced to the semifinals each season.

Immaculata has not played Neumann (17-16, 9-2 CSAC) during its playoff run the last two years. The Knights won this season's regular-season match, 3-0, on Neumann's home court. Immaculata last defeated Neumann, 3-1, last year at Alumnae Hall.

Having reached the postseason the last two seasons, Immaculata has experience on the court as the team begins its playoff run. The squad is led by a pair seniors, trio of juniors, two sophomores, and a starting freshman setter.

Junior
Arden Vizzard leads the team with 230 kills (2.74 kills/set), while adding 338 digs (4.02 digs/set) and 26 service aces. Vizzard is seventh in the CSAC in kills per set, and her digs per set average is also seventh-best in the CSAC. Sophomore
Shelby Belk is second on the team in kills (169), while being Immaculata's best hitter with a .218 percentage and best blocker with 37 total blocks. She also has 16 service aces and 70 digs. Belk is 10th in the CSAC in hitting percentage. Junior
Gabrielle Guerrera is another big presence for the Mighty Macs with 163 kills to go along with 114 digs and 17 total blocks. She is sixth in the CSAC in kills set sets (2.76).

Nicole Taylor. Kieffer has played in all 24 matches this season for Immaculata with 92 kills and 23 blocks. Taylor has 77 sets played with 79 kills and the third-most blocks on the squad with 22. Â

Freshman
Olivia Zdradzinski has taken over setting duties this season for the Mighty Macs with 579 assists, and has added 77 kills, 16 services aces, 212 digs and seven blocks. Zdradzinski lists sixth in the CSAC in assists per set (7.15).

Senior libero
Molly Truitt paces all Mighty Macs with 385 digs, and she lists second in the CSAC with 4.58 digs per set. Truitt has served up a team-high 47 aces this season, ranking eighth in the league in aces per set (0.56). Sophomore
Olivia Carter is instrumental in the back row for the Mighty Macs, playing in 77 sets with 168 digs and 30 service aces, ranking second on the team.

The other quarterfinal matchup features No. 4 Marywood hosting No. 5 Notre Dame. Cabrini earned the No. 1 seed in the tournament and Keystone is the second seed, and both squads earned byes into the semifinals. No. 1 Cabrini will host the lowest remaining seed on Thursday, Nov. 3, and No. 2 Neumann will host the other quarterfinal winner. The championship match will be played on Saturday, Nov. 5 at the highest seed.
