ROSEMONT, Pa.- The Immaculata women's tennis team polished off an outstanding regular season as they defeated Rosemont (1-12, 1-9 CSAC) by a score of 9-0 to wrap up the schedule at 12-5 overall and 8-2 in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) play.  The Macs will enter the CSAC postseason as the No. 3 seed and they will take on No. 2 Marywood in the CSAC Semifinals next Friday.
 
In today's contest, the Macs dropped just three games all day en route to the big victory.  All three doubles teams won by a convincing 8-0 margin.  Senior 
Lauren Degnan and junior 
Kelly Gross at first doubles, senior 
Annaliese Kambouroglos and sophomore 
Caitlin Savage at second doubles, and freshman 
Susan Callahan and sophomore 
Claire Stimson all cruised to victory.
 
In singles play, it was more of the same for the Macs as they wrapped up the regular season in dominating fashion.  Degnan won 6-0, 6-0 at first singles, and Kambouroglos did the same at third singles.  Gross finished her season at 14-3 in singles, tied for most victories on the team with a 6-2, 6-1 win.
 
Callahan won 6-0, 6-0 at fourth singles, Savage finished an outstanding season at 14-2 with a 6-0, 6-0 win at fifth singles, and freshman 
Timesha Smith won 6-0, 6-0 at sixth singles.
 
The Macs will now prepare for the CSAC Semifinals and Championship next weekend.
