IMMACULATA, Pa.- The Immaculata women's tennis team (10-5) dropped their non-conference and home finale on Wednesday afternoon at the IU Tennis Courts, 8-1.  The Mighty Macs will now look to clinch their fourth straight Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) this weekend with a win in one of their final two CSAC matches.

In today's match, the Macs dropped a pair of tough doubles matches and fell behind 3-0 through the early portion of the match.  Senior Lauren Degnan and junior Kelly Gross fell 8-6 at first doubles, and sophomore Claire Stimson and freshman Susan Callahan lost 9-7 in third doubles.

In singles, Callahan earned a hard fought 6-3, 7-5 victory in the fourth singles position for the lone IU point on the day.

The Mighty Macs will travel to Neumann on Friday at 4 p.m. for a crucial CSAC match.
