SWARTHMORE, Pa.- The Immaculata women's soccer team travelled to Swarthmore on Wednesday night and the Garnet (5-0) defeated the Mighty Macs, 11-0.
 
Senior goalie Elizabeth McBride had 12 saves in the cage for Immaculata (0-4-1).
 
Freshman Morgan McDonough and senior Kaitlyn Taylor had one shot each.
 
The Garnet opened the scoring 56 seconds in and had a 4-0 lead 10:24 into the game.  They would add four more goals to take an 8-0 lead to the locker room.
 
Swarthmore added three more goals in the second half.
 
Immaculata will now look forward to opening Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) play on Saturday at Cairn at 11 a.m.
