Women’s Soccer Faces Marywood in Regular Season Finale with Playoff Spot on the Line

WHAT TO KNOW

The Immaculata University women's soccer team (4-9-1, 3-3-0 AEC) returns to Draper Walsh Stadium to host Marywood in a crucial AEC game on Wednesday night.
Immaculata enters Wednesday's game after falling at Gwynedd mercy 1-0 on Saturday and need to secure a win or tie to secure against Marywood, or a Gwynedd Mercy loss or tie to secure an AEC playoff spot.
Marywood (15-1, 6-0 AEC) enters Wednesday's game on a 13-game winning streak, and defeated Pratt 5-1 on Saturday.

She recorded four saves in a shutout performance during Immaculata's 1–0 conference victory over Neumann on Wednesday, before adding five more saves against Gwynedd Mercy on Saturday to hold the Griffins to just one goal. This marks the third time in her Immaculata career that Guthier has earned AEC Defensive Player of the Week honors.
