Box Score 2 ASTON, Pa. – Immaculata University dropped both ends of its Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) softball doubleheader at Neumann University Sunday afternoon, 9-1 and 8-0, both in six innings.

Brittany Merkle and
Christiana Donofry had two hits apiece during the two games to lead the Immaculata bats.

Immaculata (5-15, 5-5 CSAC) scored one run in the fourth inning of game one to cut Neumann's lead to 7-1.
Annemarie Bartow drew a two-out walk and scored when
Kelsey Collevechio doubled down the left field line.

Both of Donofry's hits came in the opener as she went 2-for-3.

Caitlin Brasier pitched the game's first five innings giving up seven runs, four earned, on 12 hits.
Lexie Diaz came in and pitched just 0.1 inning as the Knights scored two runs on two hits to end the game.

Both of Merkle's hits came in the second game as the Mighty Macs scattered six hits as a team.

Meghan Kugler went five innings in the nightcap allowing seven runs, six earned, on seven hits and four walks. Diaz once again came on to pitch 0.1 inning and gave up one run on two hits.

Immaculata continues CSAC play tomorrow as it travels to Keystone for a 3 p.m. start Monday.
