IMMACULATA, Pa. – Immaculata women's basketball put on a strong second half as it outscored visiting Arcadia but the hosts fell in non-conference action to the Knights, 57-46, inside Alumnae Hall Tuesday night.

Reilly Larkin led Immaculata with 15 points, and added seven rebounds, three assists and three steals. Gina Cocci produced 12 points, and Dia Veneziano amassed 11 points while sharing team honors on the boards with nine rebounds. Theresa Walsh also grabbed nine rebounds and had eight points and three steals.

The Mighty Macs (0-4) outscored the Knights, 34-29, during the final two periods but it was not enough to overcome their halftime deficit. All 12 of Cocci's points came during the second half, and Veneziano had 10 while Larkin added eight to account for 30 of Immaculata's points.

Arcadia (2-2) took its largest lead of the contest (42-15) with 6:28 left in the third period. After a 3-pointer by Larkin, Addy Crenny put in a layup for the Knights to make it a 44-18 game with a little over five minutes to go. The Knights would then go cold from the field while the Mighty Macs heated up. Immaculata went 7-for-8 from the free throw line and added two buckets to close within 44-29 with 1:33 remaining. Larkin had seven points and Cocci four during the 11-0 run.

Immaculata was down 57-35 with less than four minutes to go in the contest when the momentum shifted to the Mighty Macs. Arcadia did not score after the 3:52 mark while Immaculata finished the game with 11 unanswered points. Walsh was a perfect 4 of 4 from the line, and Veneziano added four points to the spurt. Cocci hit a three with 2:02 to play which cut Arcadia's lead to 57-44, and the Knights called a timeout soon after, but the final 11-point margin was as close as the Mighty Macs could trim their deficit.

Immaculata returns from the Thanksgiving break hosting Stockton on Monday, November 30, at 6 p.m.
