GLASSBORO, N.J. – Immaculata University's women's basketball capped its early-season road trip Saturday afternoon with a loss at Rowan University, 99-59.
 
Reilly Larkin led the Mighty Macs with 18 points and grabbed four rebounds. Gina Cocci scored 10 points, and Theresa Walsh poured in nine points and paced the team on the boards with 10 rebounds. Morgan Wentz added five rebounds and five points, while Dian Veneziano and Elizabeth McBride each finished with six points and four rebounds.
 
The Profs (4-0) began the game scoring 11-straight points during the first three minutes before Larkin's layup got the Mighty Macs on the scoreboard. Rowan led by as many as 16 (25-9) with 1:15 to play in the first period.
 
Rowan extended its lead at halftime to 25 points, 51-26.
 
The Mighty Macs (0-3) got within 21 (63-42) with 2:15 to play in the third period after going on a 7-2 run in just inside one minute, but that was as close as they came the rest of the way.
 
Immaculata returns home on Tuesday night at 6 p.m. as it hosts Arcadia.
