GLENSIDE, Pa. – Immaculata University's women's tennis team improved its record to 2-0 for the 2014 season as it defeated Arcadia University, 6-3, on Saturday.

Annaliese Kambouroglos and
Pattie McGinley were both double winners during the match as they claimed victories in both doubles and singles. The duo paired for an 8-1 win at third doubles. Kambouroglos then won at fourth singles as her opponent retired, and McGinley won in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0, at the sixth singles position.

The Mighty Macs (2-0) also won at second doubles as
Nicole Burley and
Paige Sparks were 8-3 winners at the position for the lead 2-1 lead in the match.

Immaculata clinched the match with wins at the top singles flight as
Lauren Degnan was a 6-2, 6-3 winner, and
Jenna Fratterelli defeated her opponent at fifth singles, 6-1, 6-1.

Immaculata plays its first home match on Tuesday, Sept. 9, at 4 p.m. hosting Alvernia. Â
