Box Score 2 IMMACULATA, Pa. – Rachel Kelly hit a walk-off two-run home run in the opener as Immaculata University's softball team split its Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) series with Marywood University on Tuesday afternoon. The Mighty Macs took the opener from the Pacers, 3-2, and it was Marywood taking game two, 15-6.

Meagan Fitzgerald tossed a gem in game one as she only allowed two Marywood hits, no earned runs and recorded six strikeouts. Fitzgerald took a no-hitter into the fifth inning, before the Pacers doubled with one out.
Marywood (8-6, 7-1 CSAC) scored one run each in the fifth and sixth innings for a 2-0 lead.
As Immaculata (11-7, 8-2 CSAC) came up to bat in the bottom of the seventh, the Mighty Macs had only gotten three hits off of Marywood's Lindsey Gibbs and no Mighty Mac runner had advanced past second base.
Danielle Palmisano led off the inning reaching on a dropped pop up by Marywood's third baseman.
Angelina Welch came in to pinch run for Palmisano, and Welch reached second on a passed ball. Immaculata's next two hitters got out, but not before Welch advanced to third base.
Christiana Donofry then came up and had a hard hit ball towards third that she was able to beat out as Welch crossed the plate for the Mighty Macs' first run. Immaculata got to the top of its lineup as Kelly came up and hit her first collegiate home run for the walk-off win.

Jenny Barnholt and Donofry all picked up hits as Immaculata had just five hits during game one.
In game two, Marywood hit six home runs, including three by Diana Butash, and scored three runs in the first inning and added two more in the second to take a 5-0 lead.
Immaculata got back four runs in the bottom of the second as the Mighty Macs had four hits and the Pacers made four errors. Immaculata loaded the bases after singles by Biddle and Palmisano and Strickland reached on an error.
Brittany Merkle then had a RBI as she reached base on an error to keep the bases loaded.
Caitlyn Hudock then reached on a fielder's choice as the Pacers got the out at home, however, a throwing error after getting the out allowed the runner at third to score. Barnholt then had a RBI-single to center field, and Kelly hit a sac fly to right field that scored the final run of the inning.
After a scoreless third inning, both the Pacers and Mighty Macs each plated two runs in the fourth. The Mighty Macs started the inning with singles by Barnholt and Kelly, but both runners were cut down as Donofry reached on a fielder's choice and Kelly was thrown out at third. Donofry came around to score on an error that allowed
Meghan Kugler to reach, and Kugler scored on a wild pitch.
Marywood sealed the win with four runs in each the fifth and sixth innings.
Barnholt went 3-for-3 in the nightcap while Biddle was 2-for-3.
Danielle Palmisano, who started and went two innings, got the loss as she allowed five runs on six hits and struck out one Pacer.
Meghan Kugler pitched 3.2 inning and gave up 10 hits and 10 runs, six earned, and
Julianna Tatum pitched the final 0.1 inning giving up one hit.
Immaculata travels to Baptist Bible tomorrow afternoon with first pitch as 3:30 p.m.
