Box Score IMMACULATA, Pa. – Immaculata University stayed perfect in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) women's basketball action with its 57-40 victory against Marywood University inside Alumnae Hall Saturday afternoon. The Mighty Macs start out the conference slate with a 2-0 record and improve to 3-4 overall.

The Mighty Macs got 26 points off the bench as
Lindsay Cras and
Reilly Larkin were Immaculata's leading scorers with 13 points each.
Brittany Merkle recorded a double-double with 10 points and a game-high 12 rebounds.
Sara Smith finished with nine points as she was 7-for-9 from the free throw line, and she had six rebounds.
Mackie Fitzgerald added seven points, 10 rebounds and four assists.

Immaculata trailed for all of 3:40 during the entire contest, and that was during the first half. The Pacers grabbed the lead twice, the second time for just 15 second with 7:22 to play before Smith put the Mighty Macs back ahead (14-13) with two free throws with 7:07 remaining. Smith's free throws started a 7-0 run for Immaculata that gave the hosts the largest lead of the opening half, 19-13.

Marywood (3-3, 1-1 CSAC) responded with six consecutive points to even the score at 19-all, and the two squads were tied at 21-21 at halftime.

The first 10 minutes of the second half saw the Mighty Macs grab a lead only for the Pacers to tie the score. The score was tied for the eighth time in the game at 34-34 with 10:56 to play when Merkle scored five-straight points, including three from the foul line, for the Mighty Macs to take a 39-34 lead at the 9:05 mark.

The next six minutes saw Immaculata's advantage reach double figures (49-39) as Larkin scored seven of the Mighty Macs'10 points. Marywood got within nine (49-40) with 2:39 left in the game and began to foul. Immaculata went 8-for-12 during the final 2:32 as it extended its lead to the margin of the game.
