Box Score RADNOR, Pa. - Fifth-seeded Immaculata University's 2014 volleyball season came to a conclusion Thursday night in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Tournament semifinals with a 3-0 loss to No. 1 seed Cabrini College.

The Cavaliers (25-6) advance to the championship match with their 25-20, 25-14, 25-9 victory against the Might Macs. Immaculata finishes the year with an 18-9 overall record.

Jamie Rombach, playing in her final collegiate match, finished with a team-best four kills and three block assists. Sophomore
Tess Kieffer had three kills, and senior
Stephanie Johler and freshmen
Arden Vizzard and
Gabrielle Guerrera all had two kills. Vizzard also recorded 10 digs, while Guerrera made two block assists.

Sophomore
Maranda Jones had seven assists and four digs, and senior
Brittany Thompson registered six assists and four digs.
Molly Truitt tied Vizzard with a team-leading 10 digs.

The opening set was a battle until the end. The Mighty Macs scored three straight points to the score of tied at 19-19. However, the Cavaliers broke Immaculata's run with five consecutive points to set up match point. Immaculata was able to hold Cabrini off for one point but the Cavaliers closed the set, 25-20.

Cabrini made an 11-1 run midway through the second set to gain control, and the Cavaliers began the final set taking an 11-2 advantage to close out the match's final two sets. Â Â
