YORK, Pa.- After seeing their three-match winning streak come to an end yesterday at the hands of Cabrini, Immaculata travelled to York looking to rebound, but the Spartans defeated the Mighty Macs (8-4) by a score of 7-2.
 
The Mighty Macs were swept in doubles as the third doubles tandem of Annaliese Kambouroglos and Pattie McGinley took their first loss of the season.
 
In singles, Immaculata would claim two victories.  Junior Kara Trowbridge won in three sets in the third singles position by a score of 6-2, 3-6, 11-9.
 
Freshman Kelly Gross also earned the first victory of her career in the sixth singles spot in her first career match in straight sets, 6-3, 7-5.
 
Kambouroglos and freshman Jenna Fratterelli would fall in three sets in the fourth and fifth spots, respectively. 
 
Immaculata will stay in non-conference play this week as they travel to Bryn Mawr for a 4 p.m. start on Wednesday.
