BOX SCOREIMMACULATA, Pa.- Looking to win their season-high fourth match in a row, the Mighty Macs welcomed in the CSAC-leading Cabrini Cavaliers for a pivotal conference match, and the Cavaliers (10-3, 7-0 CSAC) delivered a 5-3 defeat of the Mighty Macs (8-3, 5-2 CSAC).
 
In doubles, Immaculata fell in two of the matches to fall in an early 2-1 deficit.  Sophomore 
Annaliese Kambouroglos and senior 
Pattie McGinley remained undefeated on the season with an 8-6 victory in the third doubles spot for the lone Mighty Mac point in doubles.  Sophomore 
Nicole Burley and junior 
Kara Trowbridge took a close 8-6 defeat in the second doubles spot.
 
The singles matches were closely contested throughout with four of them going to three sets, and another unable finish due to darkness.
 
Junior 
Emily Degnan came back from a one set deficit in second singles by rallying to win the second and third set, 6-3, 6-4.  Sophomore Jenna Fratterrelli split the first two sets in sixth singles before she rallied to win the third set tiebreaker 10-5 for the final Mighty Mac point of the day.
 
Trowbridge had split the first two sets with her opponent before darkness didn't allow them to finish the match.
 
Lauren Degnan and Kambouroglos each took their first CSAC loss of the season in the third set to close out the match with Cabrini winning 5-3.
 
The Mighty Macs look to rebound tomorrow in non-conference play at York with a 1 p.m. match.
