POMONA, N.J.- The Immaculata women' tennis team travelled to Richard Stockton in a tough non-conference matchup and came away with a 9-0 road defeat. The Mighty Macs (1-2) were unable to notch any points despite a couple close matches.
In the first singles position, freshman
Lauren Degnan battled in her first career match as a Mighty Macs, but fell in three sets. She lost the first set 6-0, but came back and won the second set by the same score. However, she dropped the tiebreak 10-7 for a tough loss in her first career match.
Sophomore
Kara Trowbridge also played well, but fell 6-4, 6-3 in the third singles spot.
Immaculata will bounce back into CSAC action this coming Friday when they travel to Notre Dame for a 4 p.m. start as they look to end their two-match losing skid.
