Women's Tennis Drops Home Opener, 8-1

IMMACULATA, Pa.-
The Immacualta women's tennis team opened their 2013 home schedule by hosting Rutgers-Camden on Wednesday afternoon, but they were unable to repeat Saturday's performance as they fell 8-1.  The Mighty Macs drop to 1-1 on the season.
 
Freshman Annaliese Kambouroglos was the lone winner for the Mighty Macs in a hard-earned three-set win as she won the tie breaker 10-5 for her second consecutive singles victory to start her Immaculata career.
 
Senior Theresa Martini and sophomore Kara Trowbridge had a tough doubles match in the number two position as they fell 9-7.
 
Immaculata will stay in non-conference play moving into the weekend as they travel to Richard Stockton on Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m.
